Extensive Drilling Planned in Athabasca Basin

Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. Outlines 2024 Exploration

Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. has announced its comprehensive exploration plans for 2024, highlighting significant drilling activities across its projects in the Athabasca Basin, Canada. The company aims to capitalise on the region's rich uranium potential, with field programs set to commence at both joint ventures and fully owned projects.

Detailed Exploration Initiatives

Purepoint Uranium will initiate its drilling program at the Hook Lake JV project, a collaboration with Cameco Corp. and Orano Canada Inc., where Purepoint holds a 21% stake. The mobilisation is already underway, despite challenging weather conditions. This venture will focus on the Long Lake area, targeting over five kilometres of favourable EM conductors identified in previous explorations.

Additionally, Purepoint’s 100% owned Red Willow project will see significant drilling efforts aimed at testing new resistivity targets and historic uranium intersections. The Turnor Lake project, scheduled for drilling in late third quarter 2024, will target the Serin EM conductor, which aligns with IsoEnergy Ltd.'s Hurricane Deposit.

urepoint's exploration permits are in place for all planned projects in 2024, and the company has engaged key vendors to execute these plans. The firm’s ongoing engagement with First Nations and stakeholders underscores its commitment to responsible exploration and community development.

The company's strategic approach includes boots-on-the-ground mapping, prospecting, and sampling programs at the Rocas and Corvo projects. These efforts aim to ground truth historical uranium showings and refine main EM corridors through high-resolution geophysical surveys.
